About Us

Saving Strayz Animal Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit cat rescue based in Wisconsin. Our mission is to rescue homeless and abandoned kitties and find them loving forever homes, even if it's with us. 

Meet the team: Wendy, the owner, Manager Sarah.Laura our amazing kitten whisper. Missy our amazing foster and going to be updating with more of the team soon!  Together, with the help of the public, YOU, we can accomplish our mission.

We accomplish this by remodeling a barn in the end of 2023, which will be able to house approximately 200+ cats and kittens. In 2024, the addition of a large outdoor Catio is expected.

The large barn remodel will require quite a few building supplies and donations.

Walls will be built, floors tiled, gutters filled, cabinets installed, and much more!

We want this environment to be safe, enriching, calming, therapeutic, and most importantly, their home. 

The Catio built in spring 2024 will be an extra-large enclosed outdoor area, for kitties to not only have a safe indoor home, but a safe outdoor home and expansion as well. 

Keeping the kitties in enclosed safe areas, not only takes away the risk of unwanted accidental death, but also keeps them safe from unwanted diseases as well, such as but not limited too, exposures to ringworm, worms, fleas, ticks, and other parasites.

We encourage the public to keep your kitties safe as well, by purchasing catios for your home and even outdoor pet tents as well. Cats who roam free, are at a large and expensive risk for illness, injury, and death. 

Also, since we are a non-profit rescue, we rely solely on the public for donations, to help save and provide a life for these kitties.

Your donations make feeding, sheltering, and medical care possible for the kitties. 

We are dedicated to providing medical care, and spaying and neutering, and a safe environment for cats in need.

Through our efforts, we aim to reduce the stray cat population, cats roaming free, and prevent the unnecessary euthanasia of healthy animals in shelters. We also aim to reduce overcrowded shelters and cats living in in small kennels for most of their lives.
